ALEXYS Phenols Analyzer
Chlorophenols and nitrophenols are used in industry and agriculture for several purposes. In the end they may be found in river or drinking water. The MAC (maximum admissible concentration) in the EEC countries for phenols in drinking water is 0.5 μg/L. In the 70’s the US environmental protection agency (EPA) made a list of the eleven most important phenol contaminants as priority pollutants. The ALEXYS Phenols Analyser is routinely applied for analysis of environmental phenols using an isocratic or gradient LC system. Detection limits in the low PPB range are obtained. By using on-column sample enrichment in combination with large volume in jection the detection limits are easily improved by a factor 10 – 100.

Configuración del sistema:
Para el análisis de fenoles seleccionamos una celda SenCell con electrodo de referencia HyREF. Esta celda tiene una reproductibilidad excelente y una gran sensibilidad. El HyREF es libre de mantenimiento, y compatible con altos porcentajes de modificante. Incorpora un loop de 2mL para inyecciones de grandes volúmenes. El sistema ALEXYS está formado por las siguientes partes:
- Automuestreador refrigerado AS 100
- Bomba LC 110S HPLC
- Organizador OR 110
- Software de adquisición de datos Clarity
- Detector electroquímico DECADE II
- SenCell con GC WE, HyREF
El Sistema HPLC de gradiente incorpora una segunda bomba y un organizador con pulse damper adicional.
