Sniffer JAS
The JAS Olfactometer is a sniff detector for gas chromatography. It allows the operatur to use his human nose to identify single odors as they elute from the analytical column. Olfactory events are digitally recorded by intensity and duration. This allows the user to identify single odors in complex smells. After separation on the analytical column the effluent is split and simultaniously guided to a GC detector. The JAS Sniffer is compatible with Agilent 7890 or 6890 GC Systems and the control software ChemStation GC, MSD ChemStation and EZCHROM. The flexible and heatable transfer line prevent condensation and allows an ideal personal height adjustment for the user. The system includes an option for moisturizing the nasal mucosa.
